This rubric is to grade student's research of a human body system, describing it's function, the main organs or body parts involved and a few major diseases or illnesses associated with that system. Students will describe the changes of this body system throughout a person's life and how this system interacts with other body systems Each student will give an oral presentation using their interactive poster/bulletin board. The board must include all key facts about the system, be creatively displayed, include ways that other students can interact with the board, such as a lift-a-flap game or puzzle. A bibliography must be pasted onto the back of the board with at least one non-internet resouce.

Students will take their knowledge of our solar system and create a 3-dimensional model of it. The planets should be in the correct order and be relatively proportioned to each other (example: Mars should not be bigger than Jupiter). The sun should be included as part of the solar system. All planets should be clearly labeled in some way. This is a project meant to not only see how students view the solar system, but to also showcase their creativity. Students are encouraged to use color and to get creative while learning. This project is worth 200 points and is due October 5th. Each student will have to present their project to the class, so they should come prepared to discuss how their 3-D solar system model was created and be able to discuss the solar system and a little about each planet.
