Classification of Animals Project Due on December 19, 2012
Students will research two specific animals for classification. (1) One animal will be either a mammal, reptile, amphibian, bird, or fish. (2) The other animal will be a mollusk, insect, arthropod, or worm. Students will list their animals' classifications (KPCOFGS) and characteristics along with a at least one picture of each animal, on one piece of construction paper. Half should pertain to one animal & the other half should pertain to the other animal and can be diagonal, horizontal, or vertical. Please be sure to include all information required including whether the animal is an invertebrate or a vertebrate. You also need at least 5 additional characteristics of the animal. Use your study guide & other resources. The project is DUE ON Friday, May 4. Late projects will lose 10 points daily. There will be no projects accepted after Wednesday, May 9. Do your best & make sure that the poster is appealing.
