Audio Production: Editing a recorded interview to meet specifications

In a group of 2 students, create a radio ad for HCTC auto and cosmetology. Create a 30-60 second radio advertisement utilizing a least three of the components of a successful radio ad . You also need to include a catchy jingle. This will be presented on HECTIC Radio.

Students will interview a person on staff at the HCTC.

This Rubric will be used to grade daily participation in the classroom and when we have lab/studio activities.

The Five Keys to Being a true Professional. Character, Attitude, Excellence, Competency, and Conduct By building these positive keys characteristically in a student they will be ready to enter the career world when they have completed the course of study they are taking. Without these positive key they will have the skills for their trade, but will find it hard to make it in the career world of today. To insure students are ready to face today challenging work force. Professionalism is a vital part of their training for a professional career. Student will receive a weekly grade for professionalism. Weekly professionalism grades will count as 20% of their total grade for each 9 weeks. They can earn up to 20 points of the weekly grade daily. Student must be: Present to receive their daily points. Will receive 4 point for each Key of Professionalism they demonstrate daily.

Weekly Professional Grade

In a group of 4 students, create a radio advertisement to help sell your board game. Create a 60-90 second radio advertisement utilizing a least three of the components of a successful radio ad discussed in class. You also need to include a catchy jingle. This will be presented live to the class.

Students are to work in small groups to create a radio bradcast that includes a script and record audio onto a computer.
