Graphic artwork can be found everywhere. Students will learn to use some Macbook Programs (such as; Keynote, iphoto, photobooth, Gimp/X11) and various free internet programs (such as; picnik.com) to create your original CD Cover(2) (front & back). Change image(s) to pdf and upload to moodle for evaluation. Turn in rubric after uploading to moodle for grading.

The Presentation Team must present their unit guide, as a team, to the class. Each member of the presentation team must choose PowerPoint, Keynote, iMovie, or a Podcast to present the assigned terms. You will earn a grade that reflects the accuracy and detail of your historical research, and the quality of the presentation of your terms. Students on the presentation team must prepare a storyboard/script that reflects the textual, audio and visual content of the presentation for the teacher, and for each member of their team. You must attach a “Works Cited” section to your storyboard/script. You must utilize at least two sources per term. You may not use the same source more than twice for your portion of the assignment. In addition to an individual grade for the research and the presentation, each student on the presentation team will earn a team collaboration grade. The team collaboration grade will be based on how effectively you perform your role as a member of the team.

Each student was to create a Prezi presentation on their September book choice. This presentation must be professional, creative, engaging to the rest of the class, and address the assigned content.

Students will create a Keynote presentation defining and illustrating vocabulary terms covered this quarter. Students will also use the new vocabulary in a context appropriate sentences.

An artistic Keynote presentation on one performer or band with in the pop music genre. Give details about your favorite song, group members, members' lives, influences and accomplishments.

Forms of participation other than participating in class discussion (although this is a primary form of participation) include coming to me for extra help, giving other students feedback in class, adhering to the no-voice, consistent attendance, and being able to answer in-class dialogue from both the teacher and other students.

NOTE: If you get to the point of having a fair/poor participation grade in one or more areas, it will probably be recommended that you withdraw from the class, as you probably will not be able to keep up with the material. If a student is absent, s/he losts points on the punctuality grade rubric also.
