Cell Comparison and Presentation
Students are assigned to complete a compare and contrast project of a plant cell to animal cell using given list of required words. Students must include a 3 paragraph essay; correct use of definitions in developing a topic; and use of technology for resources, collaboration, and presenting.

Cell Structure and Function Performance Project
Draw a diagram of an animal, label the parts of the cell including organelles and describe the functions of the organelles which are specific to that particular cell on a separate piece of paper or write it out next to your drawing. You can use a computer to type your desription but you can not copy and paste. Use the following materials provided to complete this task: computer, lead pencil, colored pencils or markers, loose leaf paper or computer paper and a drawing paper.
