This Rubric is used to score the talent show contestants.

Students are asked to create a musical instrument and then demonstrate it for the class as part of an oral presentation.

Research the musical or opera. The show must be cleared with Ms. L. Musicals/opera must be a "classic/traditional/standard" show. Submit a project to present to class, following topics that need to be covered (see rubric below.) Include a works cited page with at least 3 quality resources used researching the paper. Will be graded on quality of research, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, and work cited.

This rubric describes the criteria to be graded for piano recital performance.

This course covers conducting fundamentals such as beat patterns, baton technique, score reading, cuing, subdivisions, fermatas and releases. The class will function as an ensemble, and each student will conduct assignments approximately once each week, or as frequently as possible as the assignments become longer near the end of the semester.
