Une carte française
You will design a menu for a French restaurant. You must give your restaurant a name (in French) and create the menu entirely in French. Be sure to use vocabulary we have learned in class. The menu should be visually pleasing with easily identifiable headings, prices, and if you wish, graphics/color photos.

Ma famille
2-4 minute presentation, in French 1. Student creates a powerpoint (un diaporama) consisting of at least 5 slides: title, one slide of the whole family, one slide of the student, and 2 more slides, one each of 2 different family members. We then have a ZOOM conference in which they present their family to me, with no notes. For each person, they need to state name, age, family relationship (brother, sister, etc.), physical description, personality description, and likes/dislikes.

Homework Completion Rubric
Students will know homework expectations which would include completeness, accuracy, requirements, legibility and time management.

Entretien d'embauche, français 3
This is a mock interview for a job of the student's choice. Students bring a CV, a "lettre de motivation" (cover letter) and a "fiche de poste (a description of the job they are applying for). The teacher plays the role of the recruiter, Interview questions are included below. The student is encouraged to speak about his/her real qualifications and experience. No notes allowed during interview.

Rubric: French 2 - La maison de mes rêves
Adapted from Ohio.gov world languages site. Powerpoint presentation performance assessment. Title slide with your name, the date, & Ma maison de rêve. Then, Minimum three photographs, no writing on photo slides. Describe dream home using slides, NO NOTES.

français 3 - ma journée au lycée - début d'année
This rubric is designed for a 3-5 minute French video presentation performance assessment in which the students will be presenting their school day. It must be filmed and uploaded to youtube by class on MONDAY JANUARY 27th.

Conte de fées
Students write a fairy tale, and then create an illustrated version with a minimum (B grade) of 2 illustrations. Illustrations can be drawings, computer-generated drawings of the student's own creation, or collages.
