Purpose of this Rubric: This rubric is for use as an assessment tool in measuring Learning objectives in Psychiatric Mental Health Assessment in the Pediatric Population.

Write a 2-3 page paper describing the use of concept mapping and critical thinking skills.

The overarching purposes of a student-generated nursing care plan are (a) to reflect knowledge at a basic level of critical thinking applied to patient care, (b) to show translation of classroom theory into planning patient care, and (c) to reflect understanding of the nursing process in a clinical situation. Seventy-five points is required to be classified as satisfactory. The NCP is recorded on the clinical evaluation as Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory.
