Glee Club Audition Rubric

Biography of on assigned musician. Biography should include important details of figures life and the contributions he/she made during their career. The biography will be completed on google slides. Be sure to include: Personal information, qualities, and contributions. All groups are expected to collaborate and work together. One person should not be doing all the work. All members should contribute to the completion of this task.

Every class session you practice/study techniques will be determined based on the following rubric.

3 Point Rubric

The following rubric is a checklist for your current singing skills. You will sing an excerpt from a song from our repertoire. You will be expected to sing with pitch and rhythmic accuracy, energy and projection, diction and articulation, expression and style, proper tone quality and blend.

The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the topic selected by the student. The poster will be designed on either poster board (full-sized poster board) or tri fold poster board. The student is required to present their poster to the class and teacher.

Compose 8-12 measure composition to be performed with your assigned group. You will notate your composition on music manuscript following music fundamentals used in class. Your composition will be in 4/4 time.
