The rubic is used to evaluate the final design project proposals presented in the Methods of Research course of undergraduate engineering students students.

This will be used to evaluate each group’s presentation. Students can look at this rubric so they may understand what they are being graded on. The Group Presentation Rubric will be combined with the Evaluation Rubric to determine your final grade for the project.

Engineering teamwork skills - Class/Project - ICR MEC-180-H1 Engineering Materials - Applies to Student Learning Outcomes 1 - 10

This rubric will be used for all submitted papers.

The student will design an electronic circuit based on a predetermined system specification. Calculations related to the design will be established to align component choice and schematic circuit representation. Such design will be simulated through computer software before actual hardware implementation for checking and redesign. Upon validation of design through computer simulation, the hardware aspect will be implemented and tested for accuracy and reliability.

Utilize CAD drafting & design software to plan and prepare construction documents to retrieve, manage, analyze, and present information. Introduced, Applied and Reinforced in all A&E CAD classes that are CAD-based.
