Tall Tales of Storyland: Creating your fairytale
Students will work collaboratively in small groups to create a fairytale story with illustrations using multiple technological resources and creative crafting materials at school. Each group member must create a character, whether it is a person, animal, plant, or an inanimate object that has come to life. The group will be required to research different fairytale ideas and develop their storyline. The story must have correct sequence of events and contain all parts that make up a story.

Family Immigration History Project
"The history of America is Immigration." As we have been discussing immigration in our history class, we have learned that many individuals who have emigrated from other countries have come to America for many different reasons. Some to escape the has living conditions, tyranny government, for better opportunities, etc. This project is to give students the opportunity to learn history by applying and connecting this Immigration unit with their own family immigration history.
