Students will show the changes made from their first draft based on their first presentation, student assessments and poster-board walk-through. Written paper should include 2-4 page paper, not including title page or references pages. Paper should be double spaced, 12 point, Times New Roman font,, with 1 inch margins, APA format and Stapled.

Research paper on disease/medical condition and its relationship to nutrition. Demographics, causes, signs/symptoms, & treatment should be discussed. Also, ways poor diet/nutrition could have caused disease & how a proper diet/exercise regimen may help improve problem. Paper should be 2-4 pgs, excluding title page & reference pages. Do not include illustrations or diagrams. Paper should be double spaced, in 12-point, Times New Roman font, with 1-inch margins, APA format AND STAPLED.

TLW complete a diet diary for seven days by documenting all foods and drinks, classifying items into the correct food groups, and determining if dietary goals are being met. The paper should also include physical activity, water intake, folic acid, dietary fiber, vitamin D, calcium, sodium, cholesterol and total fat. Evaluate progess toward goals and set new goals based on progress.

Pick a disease related to the GI tract and how certain surgeries/procedures pertain to this disease.
