Skin tissue box Project Rubric
Directions: constructing a skin model on a square tissue box that includes and labels the epidermis, Papillary layer of dermis, Reticular layer of dermis, and hypodermis. Be sure to include the following Pop-off structures as well: sebaceous glands, apocrine sweat glands, merocrine sweat glands, arrector pili, hair follicles, Hair root, veins, arteries, Meissners Corpuscle, Pacinian Corpuscle, Root Hair Plexus, Hair shaft and adipose tissue. Lines Points and Planes Project
On Carbon paper, Draw a picture showing different planes using lines and points. Draw just the shapes at first. Take the pink sheet away. Next you are going to add detail to your picture using more lines and points. Take the yellow sheet away. Finally color the white sheet to give the last effects of your picture. Notice how lines and points are used to show different planes.

Disease Diary
Research the approved disease topic. Submit one 2-5 page typed paper, double spaced, following APA or MLA guidelines. Include a bibliography citing at least 3 resources used researching the paper. Paper will be graded on quality of research, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, and bibliography.

The book should have areas segmented that directly reflect what we have learned. The student is required to maintain and organize their notebook. At the end of the year the student will be required to explain the book to the class and teacher and give the pros and cons of this assignment.

Who is Isaac Newton? Project
Student create a presentation introducing Isaac Newton, describing Newton's Three Laws of Motion. You must include a biography of Newtons Life, description of Newton's 3 Laws of Motion and at least 2 videos that accurately represent each Laws of Motion (6 videos in total) along with a short description on how each video represents the law. The videos that you find can not be instructional videos, but rather videos of normal, everyday things that can be used as examples of Newton's three laws.
