You will use PowerPoint to do an autobiography. You have to create at least 20 but no more than 25 slides. You are to include text and pictures. You can find school appropriate pictures on the Internet of places you have been or of yourself and/or members of your family (perhaps you have a photobucket or a photo album online). You may also bring in pictures to scan or a picture CD. You will need to include the following information on your slides: Master/Title Slide (inludes Title, Name, Class & Period, Date Due, Teacher's Name) Slides 2-19 Where & when you were born Schools you may have attendes Places you may have lived Places you may have visited Family Events Special things you remember Things you may have accomplished Slide 20 - Future Plans/Goals What College, University, Business School do you plan to attend What will be your major What do you want to be (business owner, Doctor, Lawyer, etc.)

Develop a magazine article on a topic of your choice. Write at least a 1 page article using proper grammar, punctuation and spelling. Once you have written the article, then using Photoshop and Illustrator, format the text and add graphics to create a pleasing 2 page (18x12") spread for a magazine. Students will tell the story of their topic both visually and with the written word.

Photo Collage Speci?cations Collage size: 60 picas x 48 picas (10 x 8 inches) 1. Layout and design a Photo Collage using 6 to 8 color and/or B&W photos.(a collage is an assortment of different sized photos arranged in an interesting layout/design for use in magazine, presentation, etc.) 2. Complete the layout in Photoshop. 3. Open, place, or acquire one or more photographs. (note: Your design cannot extend beyond the edge of the document) 4. Retouch, enhance, or manipulate the photographs using shadows, duotone, embossing textures, ?lters and blends when appropriate. 5. Use of text or artwork along with photos is optional with the Photo Collage. 6. Design may use unlimited colors (4-color process). 7. Print the completed assignment. 8. Save the document to your folder.

One photo will be turned into a Black/White photo, other photos must show evidence that learning the Photoshop software has taken place.
