Clinical Evaluation of student performance of resident care in a Nursing Home. Students are required to perform patient care ADL's, and use critical thinking skills while working in the clinical setting. Work Ethic, Communication, Attendance/Tardiness/Safety/ Indirect Care Measures are evaluated.

Care Plan and nursing process practice

Choose a patient that you had in clinical. Prepare a care plan based on relevant objective and subjective assessment data. The care plan will include nursing diagnosis, written in proper format and listed in order of priority for care, planning and goal statements which must be attainable and measureable, nursing interventions with researched rationales (reference sources), expectations for evaluation including what would constitute the goals being met, partially met, or unmet.

This rubric is used to assess a learner's ability to identify, select, don, and doff personal protective equipment (PPE) in a medical environment in order to prevent exposure to blood-borne pathogens.

Each section is worth 10 points total ( includes bonus point listed under nursing diagnosis) A zero will be given for the entire section if the information is unreadable or if a non approved nursing diagnosis is used.
