What is a cookie?
A cookie is a very small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier that is sent
to your browser from RCampus and stored on your computer's hard drive. These cookies allow you to move
from page to page at RCampus site without having to sign in again on each page. When you sign out of
RCampus, these cookies are deleted from your computer.
Each web site can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser's preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy)
your browser only permits a web site to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other

How cookies protect your privacy?
Without cookies, the only way to keep you logged in is by passing a unique id from one page to another. That becomes a security
vulnerability as unauthorized users may be able to duplicate the unique id and impersonate your session. With the help of cookies
a site can hide that unique id inside a cookie on your computer. That prevents others from duplicating the unique id or intruding
into your session.
