Dr. Robert Bagley - Vennard College

About Me

I have been Vice President of Academic Affairs at Vennard College since June 2005.  Before serving at Vennard our family spent 23 years in missionary service in southern Africa with Wesleyan World Missions where I served in a variety of roles through the years: a Bible college teacher, a Bible college principal, a theological education coordinator and a field director. I have a doctorate in educational studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinty School, a master's degree in missions from Colunbia Biblical Seminary, and bachelors degree in theology from Southern Wesleyan University.

My wife, Brenda, has a master's degree in intercultural studies from Wheaton College Graduate School and founded Compassionate Ministries - Southern Africa, an organization which encourages and assists individual Christians and churches to get involved responding to the social needs in southern African society such as AIDS, poverty, and abuse. She currently is working as the Acting Director of Library Services at Vennard College.

We have three children: Joshua (26), a web programmer for InterVarsity Press in Chicago; Tracy (21), a junior at Oklahoma Wesleyan University; and Mary Beth (16), a junior at Oskaloosa High School. We are also the proud grandparents of one beautiful granddaughter, Kaitlin, aged 20 months.

 Granddaughters are great!
