I am graduating December 2008 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Middle Tennessee State University. I plan to work on either a medical-surgical floor or obsteric unit. My heart is in labor and delivery and newborn nursing. I chose nursing as my profession because nursing is caring, helping, selfless, and ever-evolving. I believe that the core of nursing is helping and caring for patients and thier families, so that they may reach thier full health potential; potential, physically, mentally, and emotionally. My vision for myself as a nurse is that I will progress in my career, always learn and apply new things to the care I provide to my patients and thier families.
