In this work it is aimed to make the students use mind maps as a thinking tool in writing a composition. To do so it is assumed that the ICT teacher and Turkish teacher work/teach collaboratively. While preparing this activity, a lesson plan, explanatory presentation for thinking tools, example mind maps had been prepared. Also a specific mind map program named 'Kidspiration' had installed to the computers. The products of the activity can be seen below:
