As part of my pediatric rotation, I spent time at Special Kids in Murfreesboro. This experience reminded me of the meaning behind the content of my discipline. All the knowledge, the skills and tests, have prepared me to pursue my passion which is to help others. As a nurse, confidence and competence are essential but as the following paper refelcts the nurse wants to be competent in order to provide the most effective care. Care that is caring!
