In my Community Health Nursing class, one project I completed was a family visit. During this family visit, I spent time with an elderly couple performing an assessment of thier overall health. The assessment also, required me to examine their home, neighborhood and its resources, medications, financial situation, family support, etc. I have included an excerpt from my family visit paper, which highlights the planning skills used to assess and help this couple.
