Description

     Eng 101 is a class that helps you learn different writing skills. Students write many different papers that will help improve their writing skills. You learn how to use MLA documentation and formattingnin the correct way. In this class you will write many different papers with the last paper being the research paper. The research paper is twenty percent of your final grade and the papers leading up to it are supposed to help you learn skills to help for the research paper. In this class you will also read some articles and write journals on them. In all, this class is mostly about building up your researching and writing skills building up to your final research paper.

     In this image there are many different sports represented.  Some sports that are represented are basketball, soccer, football, volleyball, bowling, hockey and tennis.  They are on a black screen and the shadows are underneath all the different balls. 

Description

     This image represents me because it is of many different sports.  I would consider myself an athletic person that is good at most sports that i try.  I am never spectactular at any of them but i can always compete in any sport that i try.  Also this represents me because i am a very competitive person.  I hate losing at anything.  Even if it is backyard soccer or football, if i lose i will most likely be in a bad mood for a short time.  I enjoy competing in many different sports but my favorite sport is soccer and this is represented in the bottom of the image.

Reflection

     I learned through this paper that I need to use better paragraph structure. I realized through this that sometimes I had two different points in the same paragraph and I should stay away from this. Having two points in one paragraph seemed like a good idea at the time because they both correlated to the same point. I realize now that it could be confusing and raise questions to the reader. It was a good paper I feel like but I didn’t get the grade I wanted so I need to go back and figure out what went wrong so I can work on it for the research paper. A negative experience was that this was one of the first grades I got back that I wasn’t happy with on a paper. It was very discouraging when I got this grade and I have not been happy with papers since. The writing center told me I did a good job so I expected a much higher grade. That was the only feedback I got really. I realize I will have to continue going to the writing center and working hard so I can get the grades that I want.
