English 101 teaches students many different topics.  One being the basics on how to develop and write a essay.  This course also taught me how to develop a works cited page.  Before this course I had no idea how to site quotes and ideas correctly, but now I could pretty much site anything I wanted.  English 101 teaches students the many different structures of papers. The course gives students different outlines for writing papers and shows us many different brainstorming techniques.

English Essay

I chose this essay for two reasons. One being that I did pretty well on the paper and the other being that my essay shows in detail how living at home and being on your own in college can be similar but yet different at the same time.
