English 101 is a class that looks mainly into the writing process and focuses on the components of writing a good paper as well as the steps it takes to writing different types of papers. For example, we have written papers such as an argumentive paper, a compare/contrast paper, and we are now working on a research paper. While writing the research and agrument papers we have focused a lot of our attention on citing information we find through our research. The reason why we are focused on citing information, is so that we do not plagerize any information that is gained throughout the research process. Also, we have talked about the consequences of plagerism and we have also studied the steps to writing a paper and how much effort it takes to write a well-rounded complete paper. English 101 is a very beneficial class to me because I will use all of the information that I have learned many times in the future when I have to write papers for other classes. I believe that this class is very beneficial and rewarding in the end as well.

     Throughout the semester in English 101, it is required that you write different papers so you can get the feel of how to write in different ways. For instance, you are required to write essays that are compare/contrast, argument, research, as well as many others. The essay that I felt I wrote the strongest in was my argument essay. I wrote my argument essay on how public school is more beneficial than homeschooling. The reason why I chose this topic was because I strongly feel that students gain more from attending public schools rather than being home schooled. The reason why I felt like I wrote the strongest in this essay was because I believe I had sufficient reasons for supporting my thesis as well as I felt that I was strongly supported by the information that I had found through my research. Writing this paper had many parts to that could sometimes be difficult but I feel like this essay turned out to a strong and supportive essay.

     You see a collection of many pictures and you might think that there is a lot of things racing through the artists mind. You see of a person standing in an open field able to be free and open. Then you see two people holding hands and representing the true love that everyone looks for. After looking through the picture you see a picture of a camera, which represents the photographer's true passion in life. Beside the camera picture comes a picture of the famous Hollywood sign California representing maybe the dream of the photographer and how they want to be famous one and fulfill that dream of their own. Next comes a picture of Audrey Hepburn talking on the phone. The photographer may have put the picture in the collage because she could be an idol of theirs and someone they look up to. As you look through the collage you will see a picture of a flower representing the innocence and purity of the person as well. With all of these pictures together as a whole it pieces together the what is going on in the mind of the photographer/artist.

     I chose this image because I felt that I represented myself in many ways. For instance, in the collage there is a picture of Audrey Hepburn and she is one person that I look up to as a good role model. Also, in the collage there is a picture of someone playing the guitar and I feel that represents me by the fact that I play the piano and musically inclined. Throughout the entire collage there are many other pictures that represent me as well. For instance, the picture of the person standing in a open field and I feel that represents me as a person because I am a free and open-minded person that tries to live everyday to the fullest. I chose this picture because it was a good description of all the combinations that I feel make up me as a person and reflects my personality on the whole.
