Short-Term Goals:

·         Completing the Capstone Project

·         Finalizing the Research Paper

·         Maintaining a B average

Completing both my Capstone Project for COL 105 and my final research paper for ENG 101 are my top short-term goals. Both of these goals are a big percentage of my final grade in those classes. Everything that I have learned and done in ENG 101 will be used to complete the research paper on Human Rights. I choice to research on voluntary Euthanasia. I need to be able to persuade a group of people opposing voluntary Euthanasia to agree with my side by using facts and other information. For COL 105, the Capstone Projects consists of many smaller projects and surveys done by my success team, teachers, and advisors at the beginning and at the end of the semester. There are also plenty of essays inside the project that must be completed.By doing well on both of these short-term goals, I can get my B average in college.

Long-Term Goals:

·         Obtaining a Welding Degree

·         Getting a good-paying job

·         Starting a family

·         Buying a house

These long-term goals can secure my future after I graduate from Tri-County Technical College. Once I get my degree in welding, I can look for a job that gives a reasonable pay and still have time to do other things outside of working. I still want a job that is still in South Carolina and does not require much traveling. I do enjoy seeing new places and working on new tasks. After I have a good financial set up with my workplace, I can start a family and use the money I made to buy a rather nice home on the country side away from the noises of the city.
