My name is Beverly King and I currently live in Williamston, SC with my mother, father, and one brother. I have lived in Williamston for almost five years. I was born in Sumter, SC on Shaw Air Force Base on January 2, 1990. I attended Palmetto High School in Williamston. I played volleyball for three years and I was captain of the Varsity team my senior year. I ran cross country for three years and I also threw shot-put and discus my senior year. I am an active person and I love going to the gym at least four days out of the week.

I have worked at ACE Hardware in Williamston for about a year and a half. I love where I work and all the people there that I have grown close to. I wouldn’t give my job up for anything. I have always wanted to work at a hardware store but I never really thought it would happen.

This is my first semester at Tri-County Technical College. So far I have enjoyed my experiences at Tri-County. I plan on transferring to the University of South Carolina and becoming a pediatric nurse. I am very excited about transferring. I think a pediatric nurse is the perfect job for me. I love helping people in any way and I especially love children.

In my free time, which is not much anymore, I like to go to the gym, and I also love to fish and go shrimping. One of my favorite places to go is the beach. I plan on moving to the beach or somewhere near it after I complete school.  The beach is relaxing and fun for me and relaxing is important to me.
