College 105 has been fun and exciting. We do a lot of hands on things and thats why I like it. I think I learn better when I interact with the class. We do a lot of things outside of class with the different workshops that are always going on. We were assign success teams at the beginning of the semester that help out a lot with the other LEI classes that we have together. We can call or text our other members and they can let us know of an assignment that we may have missed. The success teams really help out a lot.

Diversity Workshop:

     The diversity workshop they taught us how to be diverse. It was about thirty to forty people in this room that I was in. It was cool learning that the people in that room have some of the same problems that you have. We played a game where the instructors asked us questions and we would have to stand if it applied to you. That's how we found out that we had a lot of things in common. 

Reflection:

     The diversity workshop made me understand that I was a lot like the other people that I passed going to class. It taught me to not mess with someone because they are different than you. You need to talk to that person because you probably have more in common than you think. It just really changed my mindset of how I portray other people when I don't even know them.

Veterans Memorial:

     The veterans memorial at the school was interesting to go to. It was nice to here a veteran of war talk to you. He was in WWII, and he is still alive and kicking. It made you think of all the people that died during all the wars that the United States were in. Alomost everyone has been affected by war at some point in their lives and it was just nice to go to that.

Reflection:

     The veterans memorial really showed me that none of our soldiers that were lost at war have been forgotten. This nation really cares about their troops that are fighting now in Iraq and soldiers that have fought in previous wars. It was nice to see that my school cares also.
