Over the summer when I was registering for classes in the fall, I signed up for as many classes as I could. When I finally began classes, I realized that 18 hours is quite a hefty schedule. I had signed up for five classes that I found extremely interesting (plus English 12, which was required) but by the mere time contraints that each class required, I was forced to drop to 15 hours. Four classes this semester has given me enough time to study and have enough leisure time to go out. I have heard stories of people who have children and are taking 18 hrs a week. For me, a good balance is 15 hours.
