Rolled Paper Relief Sculptures 4 and 5 Paper Sculptures Students will explore the art of rolled paper. Students will create at least 50 or more paper tubes/straws, then they will build an original, abstract relief. Creation of 20+ Rolls 25	Poor Less than 12 rolls with poor craftsmanship.	Good 18 or more rolls with some attention to construction and craft.	Exceptional 20 or more rolls with near perfect construction and craft.
Creation of Original, Abstract Comp 25	Poor Design is something recognizable. Little to no original thought.	Good Original design using layers, different directions, and various size rolls.	Exceptional Interesting, original design using multiple layers, cohesion among roll choices, and overall composition that makse sense to the viewer.
Detail of Design 25	Poor Little to no thought given as to complexity of design.	Good Some attempt was made to create a complex design. Critical thinking took place to some extent.	Exceptional Very detailed design. Overall sculpture shows critical thinking skills being used.
Critique 25	Poor Little to no participation.	Good Not only participates in dicussion but actively listens to peers.	Exceptional Strong participation, active listening and new insights are created from interpretation of others ideas.
