Student added three or more textures successfully. Textures are neat and create visual interest.

- Demonstrates thorough understanding of content

Student added 4 or more textures to create visual interest, unify the design and crafted texture in neat detail.

Student can define what texture is and explain why it is important using supporting evidence

Student attempts to write about texture but shows lack of understanding.

Using complete sentences and supporting evidence student identifies and can describe the importance of using texture when constructing a 3-dimensional form.

- Uses critical/creative thinking processes with a high degree of effectiveness

Student identifies, describes and can relate how using texture enhances a form with supporting evidence and concrete examples.
