Texture Texture is the visual and especially tactile quality of a surface
	Level 1 Emerging Evidence suggests some partially met learning goals. 1 pts	Level 2 Developing Evidence suggests some learning goals are met. 2 pts	Level 3 Proficient Evidence suggests adequate meeting of learning goals. 3 pts	Level 4 Exemplary Strong evidence of meeting or exceeding learning goals. 4 pts
Knowledge and Understanding Learning Outcomes: Student focuses on adding texture to their tile to create visual and tactile interest.	Level 1 Emerging - Demonstrates limited understanding of content Student attempted to add texture to the tile in a minimal way. Texture is not a focus and is done with poor craftsmanship.	Level 2 Developing - Demonstrates some understanding of content Student attempted to create visual interest to piece by adding texter movement within their tile. Two textures are evident, however craftsmanship is lacking refinement.	Level 3 Proficient - Demonstrates considerable understanding of content Student added three or more textures successfully. Textures are neat and create visual interest.	Level 4 Exemplary - Demonstrates thorough understanding of content Student added 4 or more textures to create visual interest, unify the design and crafted texture in neat detail.
Thinking Student can define what texture is and explain why it is important using supporting evidence	Level 1 Emerging - Uses critical/creative thinking processes with limited effectiveness Student attempts to write about texture but shows lack of understanding.	Level 2 Developing - Uses critical/creative thinking processes with some effectiveness Student can identify what texture is but has difficulty explaining its purpose.	Level 3 Proficient - Uses critical/creative thinking processes with considerable effectiveness Using complete sentences and supporting evidence student identifies and can describe the importance of using texture when constructing a 3-dimensional form.	Level 4 Exemplary - Uses critical/creative thinking processes with a high degree of effectiveness Student identifies, describes and can relate how using texture enhances a form with supporting evidence and concrete examples.
