	Excellent 4 pts	Good 3 pts	Average 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Egg Survival	Excellent Egg remains in project and has no cracks.	Good Egg remains in the project and has some cracks in the shell but nothing is leaking out.	Average Egg might have come out of the project AND/OR the egg is leaking but not totally broken.	Poor Egg came totally out of the project. Omelet anyone??
Design Preparation	Excellent Design sketches are VERY complete, clear, and neat. Shows great evidence of attempts to make drawings BEFORE construction.	Good Design sketches are complete, clear, and neat. Shows some evidence of attempts to make drawings BEFORE construction.	Average Design sketches are NOT complete, clear, and/or neat. Shows little evidence of attempts to make drawings BEFORE construction..	Poor Design sketches and paragraph are incomplete, unclear, and/or are messy. We just cut and paste!!
Structure	Excellent Shows HIGH LEVEL of creativity. GREAT care was taken during the construction process. Students were neat, following plans and testing their contraptions. Eggstronaut is VERY easily extracted from capsule.	Good Shows good amount of creativity. Care was taken during the construction process. Students were mostly neat, following plans and testing their capsules. Eggstronaut is reasonably easy to extracted from capsule.	Average Construction did not follow their plans, were not very organized and/or sloppy in their designs. Eggstronaut was difficult to extract from the capsule.	Poor This Eggstronaut is in TROUBLE!!
Participation	Excellent Student was on-task and focused during entire activity. Regularly contributed to group and engaged during performance. They were ALWAYS on task and following directions.	Good Student mostly on task, makes contributions, and is engaged during performance. They were on task most of the time and following directions.	Average Students sometimes were distracted but made contributions and were mostly engaged in performance.	Poor Students distracted much of the time and not ready to be engaged and/or married.
