Make Your Own Musical Instrument Project Rubric 
Objective: Students will research how musical instruments make sounds and the four basic categories of musical instruments (string, wind, brass, and percussion). Students will construct and present a homemade musical instrument from simple household objects. They will be required to play some sounds on their instrument to demonstrate different rhythms or pitches.
