Students will use this rubric as they write a short research paper about a explorer of their choice. It will be their grading rubric when the paper is completed.

This rubric is for a board game project based on math concepts learned through out the year or similar. It is worth 24 points.

Create a mobile about the story. The mobile must include the title of the story, the name of the author, setting, and characters of the story. The mobile must have at least 5 moving parts and each part must have a couple sentences to explain each picture.

Students will select a bird and conduct research on the bird. They will design a presentation to aid them when sharing the traits of their bird. The presentation should tell about where their bird lives, what their bird eats, what their bird looks like (male and female), what special adaptations allow the bird to survive in it's native habitat, and any other interesting facts. They should also include what behavior the birds exhibit and their origin story.

Purposeful presentation designed to increase knowledge, to foster understanding and promote change in the listeners' attitudes, values, beliefs, or behaviors on the subject matter.

Choice 1: • Create a collage showing the positive and negative body images of women/men. • Divide your paper in half. One half will portray positive images, the other half negative images. . Choice 2: • Create a collage showing what beauty means to you. Choice 3: • Create a poem, song, collage of how you see yourself on half of the paper.

Students chose a book to read independently and then review. The review incorporates information about the book's characters, setting, plot, genre, theme, and writing style. Students will decide which type of book report they would like to do: paper, powerpoint, website, imovie, or performance.

Students will create a drone business or non-profit. Students create a business plan, along with a website, demo, or advertisement.

You will be creating an animal from your imagination. Give it a scientific name and describe its characteristics and functions. You must describe the animals living environment, its eating habits, its survival techniques, and how the animal functions in the world. You will describe what group it belongs to and why they think it belongs in that category. You will also be creating a detailed drawing of your animal in its habitat.
