About Me

I am a graduate of William Carey College, which now has attained University status.  I received my undergraduate degree and my Master of Education both from Carey, completing it everything in 1999.

I have had the privilege teaching as an Adjunct Instructor at Florida State University, and Tallahassee Community College in Florida, and at the University of Southern Mississippi and PRCC here at home.

While in Florida, I had a hectic schedule teaching at both schools at the same time with as many as six courses a semester.  My main concentration was College Composition and Argument & Persuasion, but on occasion I taught a literature class, too. In addition to these, I was asked to sub for faculty members on a regular basis that included classes, such as Children's Literature and Speech.  It's really my joy to work with and challenge students to reach their goals in writing.

No matter what the class, my heart is in teaching and I also instruct classes in theology, do counseling, and lead a church family at Grace Chapel, when I'm outside the university classroom.

I am married to a wonderful helpmate, Diane, and we ride our motorcycle when we're not busy with grandkids or remodeling projects.
