Hi! This is Ms. Vance's ePortfolio.  I am a math teacher at Cathedral City High School.  I am starting my seventh year here at CCHS and I enjoy my job. 

  I grew up in Boise, Idaho and attended Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, Oregon to earn my degrees.  I have a mathematics major, Spanish minor, and a masters degree in education.

  I enjoy traveling and I lived in Spain for awhile in 1998.  I also spend a lot of my time riding my bike and running.  Some day I'd like to train for and run a marathon, but for now 5K's will have to do.

  This year I will be teaching an AVID junior class, Algebra 1, and Geometry.  I am also the AVID coordinator and a support leader for Link Crew.
