• What if I am in the closet and do not want my family members from finding out about me?

  No need to worry!  JunebugNYC will not disclose any information to anyone outside the club.  At the various locations we will meet at, we will not flaunt who we are.  We will be a regular group of people meeting for a common purpose.

• Who runs JunebugNYC?

   JunebugNYC is currently run by two people, Anthony and Nick.  Anthony Hernandez Otey is a high school junior from Essex Street Academy and Nick Tapino is a Spanish/ French teacher from Essex Street Academy.  Essex Street Academy, a small public high school in the Lower East Side, proudly sponsers our website and club.

• What if I am not from New York City?

   If you are a gay teenager who is not from the New York City area, do feel free to sign up and become a member.  Obviously, it will be difficult to extend our help and support to your area, but we will find resources for you in your area and give you ideas on how to start a Junebug club in your area if there isn't already one.

• What is the access code?

   The access code is the series of numbers needed to become a member of JunebugNYC.  You must request the access code.  Request an access code at Junebugnyc.club@yahoo.com.  Title the email "Requesting Access Code"  Please remember that in order to obtain one you must complete the requirements shown on the home page.

• What if I don't have a student ID?

    We need to ensure the authenticity of members applying so a photocopy of your student ID is required.  However, if you do not have one please submit a copy of your report card.
