My name is Min.

I’m currently doing a Graduate Diploma in Primary Education at La Trobe University.

Indeed, becoming a Primary school teacher has always been my dream-career ever since I was very young. All along, I have been taking various courses and gaining experiences, as a way of preparing myself to be a teacher. Doing an undergraduate degree in Psychology (specializing in Developmental and Educational psychology)  and gaining various experiences in schools, are just some of the things that I did which clearly reflect my long-lived aspiration to be a teacher.

I’m originally from Korea and came to Australia in 1997.  Having come to the foreign country without any knowledge in English whatsoever, I struggled a lot for the first few years of my life here. There were times, when I wanted to give it all up and return back to my home country. But  I was very fortunate and blessed to have met some of the greatest teachers, who gave me enormous amount of support and held firm belief that I am capable of overcoming the cultural and language barriers.  It is all because of them, that I am where I am now.

It is my greatest desire to follow the footsteps of my teachers, by becoming a teacher who  can have a positive impact on students, by helping them to realize their full potential so that they may come to live their lives to the full.
