This website was created to demonstrate the knowledge and skills that the author developed as a student of the postprofessional Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Des Moines University, Des Moines, Iowa.  It includes categories derived from the American Physical Therapy Association's transitional DPT competencies and how the author was able to meet these competencies.  Samples from the author's coursework are made available as necessary.  It is the author's hope that her journey towards the DPT may encourage others in the profession to take the leap as we continue to work towards Vision 2020.
