Home

According to the wellness consumer health website, African American women experience higher death rates from breast cancer than any other racial or ethnic group. It is also reported that over one third of African American women who are over the age of 40, fail to get screened for breast cancer. The purpose of this presentation/website is to raise awareness and promote the benefits of being screened for breast cancer within the African American community.
