Hi, and welcome to my online portfolio!

My main purpose here is to engage in a little self-promotion, and what better way to do that than on the World Wide Web.

Here's a little about myself. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in May 2005 with a Bachelor's in English and a Business minor. In May 2008, I hope to earn my second degree - IT Specialist: Network Administration at Lake Superior College.

With graduation day just around the bend, I'm currently seeking a position as an entry-level Technical Writer. Having just graduated from college, I know I do not have a whole lot of experience in the field, but I know it is something I will enjoy, in terms of a full-fledged career.

The decision to become a Technical Writer seemed like an obvious one. I like to write, and for all the times I can remember, I have either been proofreading a paper or preparing some kind of documentation. It really is something I enjoy doing.

My Internship as a Documentation/Tech Intern at Lake Superior College gave me a small taste of what it is like to prepare documentation for a program in a work environment. I enjoyed working on the documentation process and I am quite proud of the work and effort I put into it.
