I have taught Physical Science at Magnet for the last 7 years.  I am a Magnet Grad, class of ’88!  I attended LSUBR and LaTech where I received a BS in Biology.  I have specialty in Horticulture.  My Secondary Ed teaching certificate is from LSUS.  I will finish up my Masters in Ed Technology in the spring or summer semester from NorthWestern.  As you can see I like to learn.  I hope you do too.  We have a lot of things to do this year.

My favorite things:   Swimming with my kiddos.  I am a sun and water person!

                                         Plants

Music (Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nickelback)

                                         Snuggling with my bloodhound

Reading (Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, Eragon, Clive Barker)

Wish List:  Anything CPO (cposcience.com).  I have attended workshops over the last two summers and am learning how to use this equipment.  It is so much fun, you don’t realize you are learning.  We will be using a lot of CPO materials this year, as I can acquire them.

I hope you have a great freshman year.  Please email or ask me if you have any questions, about any of your classes.  I am always willing to help when I can.

Don’t forget to check out the school website at Cmhs.com!

     Welcome to Physcial Science

Please look over this web site.  It has a lot of information about what you will be doing this year.  It is a good idea to check out the assignments often, as they can change quickly and sometimes you might find extra credit.

Email me any time you have a question, I check email before I go to bed around 10 and if I have time before I leave for school.
